Taking into account the rising number of Covid cases, all nurseries and stops in Ahmedabad will stay shut from Thursday till additional orders.

The Kankaria Lake and Zoo will likewise stay shut, the Gujarat government said in its request.

Prior on Tuesday, the Gujarat government had chosen to carry out a night time limit in “four metros” Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot to contain the flood in Covid-19 cases.

“The four urban communities will be noticing night time limit between 10 pm and 6 am beginning March 17. This will proceed till March 31,” an assertion gave by the state government read.

“The pre-night time limit framework will be kept up in these four metros till 16 March from 12 am to 6 am,” it said.

An authority explanation gave by the public authority chose to broaden the night check in time considering the new ascent in Covid-19 cases in four metropolitan companies.

This is the 6th augmentation of the night time limitation, which originally came into power in November a year ago after a spray in Covid cases in these urban communities post-Diwali.

As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), there are 4,717 dynamic cases in Gujarat though 2,69,955 individuals have recuperated from the illness till now. “The loss of life because of COVID-19 in the state currently remains at 4,425,” the service said.
