Indian gadget market will soon witness with many 5G smartphones in 2019. Many companies like Asus, Fujitsu, HMD Global, HTC, Vivo, Oppo, and Sony Mobile etc have announced to launch 5G smartphones soon. One of them is Chinese mobile maker OnePlus. At Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit 2018 which is being held in Hong Kong, OnePlus announced to launch a 5G smartphone in 2019. Know more.
In fact, OnePlus announced that the company will be one of the first to launch a 5G smartphone. Although it didn’t reveal the details about the handset, it could be none other than OnePlus 7. OnePlus co-founder also shared that they had already conducted a successful 5G test back in August this year. On 29th October, OnePlus 6T will have global launch in New York, USA.
In this event, Qualcomm president Cristiano Amon revealed that atleast two 5G smartphones will be launched next year. In this event, it is said that one of the smartphones may arrive in first half of 2019 and second one in second half.

Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit 2018 is being held from 22-24 October at Hong Kong. This event by Qualcomm aims at bringing global manufacturers & operators and software & hardware technology vendors together.
