Indian fans couldn’t wait to witness pop artist Justin Bieber play live there. Unfortunately, the artist postponed his performance in India, which was set for October 18 of this year, so fans will have to wait longer.

On October 18, the artist made a stop in India as part of a globe tour. With a little more than a month left, BookMyShow, the company that sold the tickets for the event, notified fans that Justin Bieber’s health issue had forced the cancellation of the show in Delhi.

The official BookMyShow Twitter account sent a message, saying: “We are very sorry to inform you that the “Justin Bieber Justice World Tour – India,” which was set to take place on October 18, 2022 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, has been postponed due to the singer’s health. He will sadly be unable to attend next month’s meeting owing to health issues, as we recently learned.”

Along with the concert in India, Justin Bieber’s gigs were also postponed in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Bahrain, the UAE, and Israel.

The 28-year-old revealed to the world in June of this year that he had been given the diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome. His illness, a rare neurological disease, has paralysed one side of his face.

The BookMyShow staff expressed worry for the singer’s health and wished him a quick recovery in the hopes that he would return to India soon to perform for his fans.

Additionally, BookMyShow guaranteed a complete refund of all ticket purchases within 10 business days.

Up until March 2023, the singer had 70 concerts scheduled around South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

This year, the coronavirus also infected Justin Bieber. In a video that he shared on Instagram, he mentioned his neurological disorder-related illness.

He mentioned that he wouldn’t be physically able to do his forthcoming gigs, but he added that he was working on his face and will soon be well. It’ll return to normal, Justin Bieber assured.
