PM Modi’s birthday brought India a Guinness World Record. Here’s how!

Everybody has a connection with PM Modi and so his birthday was bound to be celebrated in a special manner.

What happened on September 17?

The people who share their birthday with PM Modi flocked to the Sarsana exhibition centre in Surat to create a Guinness World Record for the “largest same birthday gathering”. There were close to 1200 of them. What happened was that people who are born on September 17 from across the country cut their birthday cakes together.

This programme was named as the Atulya Shakti Diwas. All those who had their birthdays were given their individual table and chair. They were given a hat and all of them were humming birthday songs. The prograame was arranged by the Atul Bakery in Gujarat.

Atul Vekariya, the owner of Atul Bakery said, “We formed over 20 groups of around 50 people each and named the groups after the schemes launched by PM Modi Around 1200 people sharing their birthday with the PM have gathered here.”

The group for young girls was named “Sukanya Yojana”; for adolescent girls, it was “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”, for elderly, the group’s name was “Atal Pension Yojana”, for youth, the name was “Skill India”. Digital India, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachch Bharat Yojana were some of the other group names, but what stood out was a group that had people with the name Narendra.

The different groups were given different names, which were identical with the schemes of PM Modi. They were named as “Sukanya Yojana”, “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”, “Atal Pension Yojana”, “Skill India”, Digital India, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachch Bharat Yojana were some of the group names.

What struck our attention was this!

Narendra Soni, a group member, said, “I share my name, birth date, birth year and sun sign with PM Modi. Coincidentally, our mothers’ names are also same.”
