Rajasthan CM Raje’s Gaurav Yatra from 4th August; Helicopters to be part of 40-day yatra

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has been preparing to come back in power in Rajasthan in 2018. Rajasthan Assembly Election polls 2018 are few months away. To repeat the history, she is ready to start her prestigious Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra from August 4. It is a 40-day yatra that will cover 6054-km. Under this yatra, 165 Vidhan Sabha constituencies out of 200 will be covered. This yatra will commence from Rajsamand’s famous Char Bhuja Ji Mandir followed by a public meeting in Kankroli. On 4th August, BJP national president Amit Shah will wave the flag to start the yatra which will end on 30 September. The yatra will culminate at Pushkar (Ajmer). Although this yatra is to be held on chariot or rath, CM Raje will also use a helicopter in the yatra. To reach Jhadol and Rishabhdev in Udaipur, helicopter will be used as these are hilly areas. The information is being provided by home minister and state convener of yatra Gulab Chand Kataria.

How will it proceed?
During this yatra, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions will be covered. A total of 135 public meetings will be held in these 40 days.

Talking about Gaurav Yatra, CM Vasundhara Raje had done this yatra in 2003 and 2013 also. Both the times, it had begun from the Charbhuja temple. This time proved to be beneficial for her and she won as CM of Rajasthan.
