A celebration of the Rajasthan Festival continues with higher passion every single day. People not only from the capital city but from throughout the state have came all the way to the pink city to enjoy and witness the grand celebration of the Rajasthan Diwas 2016. Yesterday was another one such magnificent event scheduled at the beautifully lit Albert Hall. On the third day of the festival there were a couple of programs that were organized.
The evening started with the pride of Rajasthan, Bhanwari Devi singing her hit traditional tracks at her best. The singer left every individual in the audience jaw-dropped with her outstanding performance. She has performed at various national and international platforms and has been appreciated every time she gives her voice to the lyrics. Her majestic voice wooed the audience and all were seen enjoying and humming along with her.
After her terrific performance, it was the time for a heritage fashion show where top models of the country walked the ramp in beautifully stunning attires made by the noted Bangladeshi designer BiBi Russell in collaboration of Rajasthali, a flagship brand of the handicrafts marketing wing of the Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation. The very talented lady presented her designs dedicated to the colourful state of Rajasthan. Her first set of outfits were based on the pink city Jaipur followed by four different sets of attires of turquoise, black and white, brown, and green presented by the professional models.
Next was the thrilling, dazzling and a marvellous performance by the famous brothers, Salim-Suleman. The Bollywood singers along with the Indian idol Vipul Mehta, Bhumi Trivedi and their team performed hit songs sung in the Bollywood movies including Chal Chaiya Chaiya, Aye Khuda, Aashayein, Kurbaan Hua, Jugni etc. The team ended the event with the epic song that’s favorite of every Indian, ‘Chak De India’. The crowd went absolutely crazy and jumped off their chairs singing along the singer brothers.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, MP Dhushyant Singh and many other dignitaries were present at the event to witness the breathtaking performances of the artists.
