Superstar Rajnikanth has finally ended all the speculations by announcing his political venture on 31st December which came as rejoicing news for his fans. The Tamil superstar said that he is going to launch a political party that will contest elections in all 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu in the next Assembly Elections. He also stated that his party is going to work beyond any caste or religion and would be ‘spiritual’.
As of now, the Thalaiva has decided to keep off the election to local bodies due to time constraints and would decide for contesting 2019 Lok Sabha elections later. Citing the deteriorated political situation as the reason for his political journey, he said that it’s high time for him to join politics and if he doesn’t take any action, he would spend the rest of his life in guilt.
He also compared the politicians with the empires and kings of old times and said that kings used to loot other empires but the political parties are looting their own people in the name of democracy. Rajnikanth is not just loved for his films and acting but he is more like God for his fans and followers. His entry into politics is being seen as a much awaited step and people have really high hopes from him that he would surely bring a change in the current system.
