Sheena Bora murder case is getting mysterious day by day. Several new twists have been added to this case, the tip-off for which seem to have come from Siddharth Das, the first husband of Indrani, also considered to be the biological father of the victim, during his first interview before media from Kolkata earlier today.
Siddharth Das in his interview claims Sheena Bora to be his daughter, but he further adds that he never married Indrani Mukherjea, as they were in a live-in relationship at that time. Das is demanding a death sentence for accused, claiming Indrani to be a very ambitious lady and possibly the killer of his daughter.
Sheena Bora, 24 year old daughter of Indrani Mukherjea was murdered on 24th April 2012, allegedly by a trio of Indrani, driver Shyamwar Rai and Indrani’s second husband Sanjeev Khanna. The body of victim was burnt and disposed off in Raigard near a farmhouse, 84 kms away from Mumbai.
Primary suspect of this murder case Indrani Mukherjea, during her interrogation said that, “Sheena is alive and she is residing in US, she hates me (Indrani Mukherjea) is a reason why Sheena is not coming out.” However police department considering it to be a lie, started investigating passengers list of the travel date. Indrani Mukherjea in her interrogation at Khar Police station confessed that, she was having financial conflicts with her daughter, Sheena also use to threatened her to reveal her secrets to Peter. Indrani added that she has transferred huge amount to Sheena, but when she asked it back Sheena refused.
However, Indrani did not confess her involvement in murder of Sheena Bora, along with Sanjeev Khanna, who has been detained by Khar Police on 26th August 2015. Indrani’s driver Shyam Rai and Sanjeev Khanna are blaming each other for the murder.
The police sources inform that, former media executive Indrani married television tycoon Peter Mukherjea, has stuck in this case and has been “tough to crack”. On the other side legal panel of Indrani, alleged media for making fake stories. The panel says that media is taking this case into a wrong direction. Solving the Sheena Bora Murder Case has turned out to be a rollercoaster ride, for Mumbai Police and for people directly and indirectly associated with this surprising murder case.
