Karnataka DK Shivakumar Senior Congressman Arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement on Tuesday will be presented before the court in New Delhi. The Directorate of the Enforcement Office will probably request the custody of DK Shivakumar for his money-laundering accusations.
After several days of questioning by the ED, DK Shivakumar was detained on Tuesday. The BJP is accused of using the ED for identifying the Opposition. Congress has called Shivakumars arrest as a vendetta policy.
A short time after DK Shivakumar had been detained by the ED, Congressmen in Karnataka and New Delhi began demonstrations. DK Shivakumar was taken to Ram M in Delhi following his arrest.
Shortly after his arrest, D.K Shivakumar called his instances as politically motivated in a tweet. “I appeal to my party cadre, supporters and well-wishers to not be disheartened as I have done nothing illegal. I have full faith in God and in our country’s judiciary and am very confident that I will emerge victorious both legally and politically against this vendetta politics,”
He also congratulated the BJP for “finally being successful in their mission” “It is politically based on the I-T and ED instances against me, and I am a victim of BJP revenge and vendetta policies,” said DK Shivakumar.

In a protest against the arrest of the Congress leader, supporters of DK Shivakumar block the Belagavi-Bagalkot highway.
