After the Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP coalition government lately took office in Jammu and Kashmir, a group of undisclosed terrorists attacked a police party in the Srinagar city killing three policemen and injuring a few others on Monday.
Reports say that, alarmed and dreaded terrorist outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) has asserted responsibility for terror attacks in which 3 cops were martyred.
The first terror attack happened around 10:45 am today when two unidentified terrorists shot dead two innocent policemen at duty.
After the continuous two attacks in the past two hours, a high alert in the city and across the LOC (Line of Control) has been announced as the Pakistani terrorists are in a chance to move into the city. Reports further say that group of terrorists who were heavily armed attacked a certain police party at Zadibal Police Station in Srinagar which brought death to two policemen. The three martyrs who have lost their lives in terror attacks in Srinagar have been identified as ASI Nazeer Ahmed, Constable Basheer Ahmed, and assistant sub-inspector Ghulam Mohammad.
