The Delhi Motor Show aka Auto Expo was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Heavy Industries Minister Anant Geete by lighting the lamp at the inauguration ceremony. This Germany Luxury carmaker stole the show with its new launch. Along with its other products, it unveiled this. The Mercedes Benz India MD Roland Folger said at the event, “The GLC and the S-Class Cabriolet are the two most successful products… and we will be introducing this year,” The main focus on the SUV category as the company has seen an immensely high growth in this particular segment.
Mahindra Ssangyong Tivoli:
Mated with a 6-speed Asisin automatic gearbox, it will be launched in India in both petrol and diesel engine options with the capacity of 1.6 liters. The design of the car is inspired from the SsangYong XIV-Adventure concept and it looks outstanding among the already running vehicles from different automobile companies in this category.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza: The CEO of Maruti in India, Kenichi Ayukawa, said “Vitara Brezza is true to its category of a compact urban SUV. It is muscular, bold and sporty, with a district presence. It offers style and glamour, and features and customization never seen before in SUVs in India.” Mated with a 5 speed manual transmission, the all new Vitara Brezza comes with a 200 DDis Engines in both petrol and diesel versions. It will compete against Mahindra TUV 300 and Ford EcoSport in the market of SUV.
Nissan GT-R:
Nissan, the Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer company proudly unveiled its new GT-R sportscar promising that will give a sweltering performance. It comes with multi LED headlights and adaptive front lighting system. It is presented with a 3.8 liter turbocharged V6 engine. Isn’t it stunning?
Honda BR-V:
Priced between 8 to 12 lakh INR, this super classy SUV from Honda attracted a lot of visitors at the Auto Expo. It comes in 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine options with a 6 speed manual transmission. IT major features include the dual front airbags and LED connected tail light deign that gives the model a dazzling look all over.
