1. Mannat- Shahrukh khan
Shahrukh Khan aka King Khan of Bollywood lives in a 125-150 crore mansion which he named Mannat means “Vows to the Gods”. It is a sea facing bungalow overlooking the Arabian Sea. King Khan bought this massive looking bungalow from Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust which was heritage bungalow and redesigned it wholly to this sublime, neoclassical columned mansion. A six storey building has been built behind this bungalow. The six storey building has his offices, gyms, activity rooms, a huge library, guest rooms, entertainment room, a basement car parking and what not? The family stays in the bungalow.
2. 19 A- Perry Cross Road- Sachin Tendulkar
The gigantic house of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was once a pre-independence Parsi Villa which has been revamped to inculcate many a modern touch and make it a massive affair. This property was bought at 39 crore in 2007, and now costs around 90-100 crore. The old colonial structure has been replaced with fascinating interiors. This 40,000 square foot building has 27 stories but since some ceilings are double height, the total stories of building are 40. The Ambani house is capable to sustain an 8.0 Richter scale earthquake! The ceilings of this building are embodied by crystal chandeliers. With as many as six stories of parking lots, it also has a ballroom, guest suites and entertainment theaters that can accommodate around 50. “Antlilla” claims to be the most expensive house in the world.
5.Kingfishers Tower/White house in the Sky – Vijay Mallya
Vijay Mallya has always lived with ‘good times’, even when Kingfisher appears no more. This dynamic personality exactly knows how to make it big. The Kingfisher Towers in the UB city on the Vittal Mallya road in Bangalore is the new home of Vijay Mallya. The 34 storied luxury bungalow has been built on an ancestral property. The cost of the property is around 33 crore per condo. The penthouse on 33rd and 34th floor is the space were Mallya stays lavishly.
