India is the largest democratic country in the world with such a huge population. It is a place where all people from all castes, creeds and religion stay together in every situation and help each other in tough times. We are famous for our spices and varied cuisines, 3rd largest army in the world, cost efficient Mission to Mars, and much more. But above all, we are famous for our people and the hospitality we provide to our guests. We, in India, give everyone an equal status and chance to grow on the path of prosperity and development. We provide ample opportunities to people with talents and following points will prove my point.
India is the birthplace of many legendary persons, who needs no introduction on the international platform and made all of us proud like Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, etc.
Some of them have started from ground zero and reached the top. Few of them are stated below:-
- APJ Abdul Kalam: The very famous and renowned scientist, famously known as Missile Man was once a delivery boy. He used to sell the newspaper in his childhood but his hard work and determination have made him the first citizen of India. He was the President of India for 2002-2007 and took his last breath on 27th July 2015.
- Rajinikanth: The God of Style is the name from which people describe him. Yes, our very own Rainy sir. He is a superstar of Indian cinema and it would be fascinating for everyone to know that he is worshiped as a god in many parts of Southern India. But, a few know that he was a bus conductor before entering the Indian Cinema and is still known for his humble and kind behavior.
- Sachin Tendulkar: Sachin is a cricket player and a quite famous one in the world. But only some know that he is a school drop-out. He stopped going to school to fulfill his dreams of playing cricket for Indian Team and followed his passion with all means. His determination and consistency made him a god of cricket, which is a source of inspiration for not only Indians but for everyone who is a fan of cricket.
- Akshay Kumar: He is counted among the top actors in the Bollywood since a long time. But it’s not that he has got this achievement easily or due to any of his Bollywood connection. He had no mentor in Bollywood before commencing his acting career. He was just a waiter in a small restaurant in Bangkok. From there, he has come a long way to the top and became the highest earning actor of Bollywood recently.
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni: MS Dhoni or Captain Cool is the most successful captain that India Cricket Team has ever had. His mind blowing sixes on the ground and calm attitude during the most crucial matches has made him a favorite of everyone. But he was not destined for this; he was only a Ticket Collector in Indian Railways. He is truly a source of inspiration for everyone dreaming big in their life.
- Dhirubhai Ambani: The founder of Reliance Group and a business tycoon was awarded Padma Vibushan, which is India’s second highest Civilian honor. Before all of this, Ambani was a clerk in Yemen with A. Besse & Co. for a salary of Rs.300 for two years. His story has inspired every Indian and showed them, that Dreams do come true if you try to fulfill them with complete honesty.
- Amitabh Bachchan: The whole Bollywood bows to this man, but even he faced difficulties in his life. His production company ABCL corporations failed badly and Amitabh Bachchan was declared bankrupt. Everything that time was so challenging for Amitabh but his determination sorted ways for him. All alone, he worked his way out and again reclaimed his thorn of No. 1 in Bollywood.
- Nawazuddin Siddiqui: He also belongs to Bollywood but few know about his struggle time. He was a watchman before coming to Bollywood and as he didn’t have a mentor in Bollywood, he had also gone through a lot of difficulties during his struggle period.
- Boman Irani: He was involved into theaters and it’s not long enough that he made his debut in Bollywood. His first movie was “Darna Mana Hai”, but the film didn’t perform well in box office. It was his role in “Munna Bhai MBBS” which gained him popularity and love of masses. Before all the limelight, he was a mere attendant.
- Narendra Modi: Well, the legend of India could be truly depicted in one word, Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Das Modi. He is the man who changed the way of politics in India and is still standing tall in front of all his critics. His dynamic personality is still a research issue for all and his excellent oratory skills are making fans all around the globe, including US President Barak Obama. He was a mere Tea Seller on Railway Stations but his eyes wanted to see a change in the way, Indian administration functions. Now, he is making it all happen, which is commendable.
So, we can say that these legends have not only played their part in creating history but have also inspired many others in dreaming big and achieving it. According to them, nothing in this universe is impossible; you only have to put your honest efforts to achieve it.
