26 Pakistani Nationals missing from Mumbai; Anti-Terrorism Squad starts Hunt

26 Pakistani nationals have gone missing in Mumbai for the past two to three weeks. These people are being suspected as all of them have gone missing suddenly.

These nationals hadn’t filled the C-form which is filled by all Pakistanis on entering India. The C-form entails the reason of traveling to India.

One amongst the 26 people was dwelling in an apartment of stayed in Juhu for nearly 10 years and ran a shop in the area.

Security agencies played their role by divulging secret information to police. However, they requested anonymity and only revealed on condition of anonymity. These security agents put a system to track the 36 Pakistani nationals who had entered the country without filing the C-form.

Police also informed that none of them provided accurate details about where they were staying or about their purpose of visit.

The C-form information was provided by some. However, it was proved that the information was entirely false.

The C-form has the address of the hotel where a Pakistani national is staying, the duration of the stay and a copy of the passport, visa and residential permit. However, reportedly this information was wrong.

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is playing a crucial role in investigations of discovering the lost men in Mumbai.

Intelligent agencies have also warned about possible threat from infiltrators who may have entered the country.
