Double your calorie intake. No, it does not mean to hog on unhealthy junk food or sodas. Even though you might think you eat sufficiently for your body type, try and include a lot of carbs and proteins in your diet. You want to obtain a healthy weight, not build up your fat deposits. It also means eating five to six small meals a day with sufficient nutrient intake. Your food should be nutritious but calorie dense: try nuts, peanut butter, cheese, dried fruits and avocados.

2. Exercise

Doing cardio might develop your muscles but weight training will show more benefits on your body. weight training will make tone your muscles which weighs more in comparison to the fat. You can achieve this even without going to the gym by doing simple push-ups, crunches, lunges, and squats in your comfort zone. Additionally, exercising will also build up your appetite and you will end up eating more.

3. Think less, rest more

We are habitual to over thinking and over analyzing everything. Relax! Sit back on your couch and watch your favourite show until someone kicks you off your couch. Don’t confuse relaxing with lethargy because we know you don’t want to end up with an enlarged belly storing all the fat in it. Save on by not over-exerting your body.

4. Sleep sufficiently

Adequate sleep is necessary for your body to function properly. Too less sleeping hours means too much waking hours that will ultimately use up extra calories from your body and make you feel tired. Make sure to eat your dinner a few hours before your bed time to ensure a good night sleep.

Caffeine is a metabolism booster. If you are thin and you take in a lot of caffeine, chances are that it will increase your metabolic rate, thus using up more calories from your already deficient body. Although caffeine boosts energy, it also makes your heart race, hence using up more oxygen from your blood.
