‘Aapki Zila, Aapki Sarkaar’ Day 2: CM Vasundhara Raje deploys Carrot and Stick method to penalize slackness in officials

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje who went to Karauli as a part of state’s ongoing programme ‘Aapki Zila, Aapki Sarkaar’ has impressed all Karauli dwellers who were astonished to see their leader flocking out in scorching heat to ensure their well-being.

CM Raje today invoked strong feelings in her speech today at Karauli. From describing her experience of the surprise visits, she apprised all Karauli dwellers with the immense work that has been done throughout her tenure till date. She was outright and she was inspirational to hear. Unlike other leaders, Raje took stock of the circumstances which Karauli dwellers were facing and instantly resolved issues of the Aam Aadmi.

Vasundhara Raje said that if the will power is strong, anything is possible. If Congress had the intention to work, they would have attained the aspirations of people.

Residents of Karaulis had complained of tanker owners who were charging exorbitant prices for clean drinking water. The CM announced water works department to enable water tanks with GPS systems. Raje also urged people to not hesitate to register complaints against perfidious water tanker owners.

42 lakh residents in Rajasthan were benefitted from Deendayal Upadhyay Shahri Jan Kalyan Shivirs organized in Rajasthan. 86,430 people received lease deeds for their property in these camps. Out of the total, 4000 recipients were from Karauli itself. 111 Annapurna Bhandar have been developed from 555 ration stores in states.

CM Raje reiterated that people will only inform you about what’s good and exaggerate figures for appreciation. The only way to know the real condition of people is to go out on the field in person and see it yourself. With this attitude, CM Raje paid surprise visits to various schools and hospitals of the district.

44-kilometre long roads worth Rs 22 crores were constructed in 40 villages in Karuali under ‘Gramin Gaurav Path Yojana’. For phase II, the government intends to complete construction of 298-kilometer-long roads in 286 villages amounting to Rs 1253 crores. Currently, a 183-kilometer-long road connecting Dhaulpur-Karauli-Lalsot is under construction. A whopping Rs. 590 crores have been allocated for this purpose.
