Akshay Kumar shares first look of horror-comedy “Laxmmi Bomb”, Amitabh to play this role

Choreographer-turned-director Raghava Lawrence is all set to remake his super-hit Tamil horror comedy Kanchana in Hindi- Laxmmi Bomb. The film stars Good News actors Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead. The film went on floors on 27 April, Lawrence announced in a tweet.

Khiladi Kumar Akshay is one of the few actors who loves to experiment with his characters and acting. After doing action and romantic movies, Akshay will now work in this horror-comedy movie.

Kanchana, or Muni 2: Kanchana is the follow-up to Lawrence’s massively successful previous venture, Muni and the second film in the installment of Muni film series. It revolves around Raghava, a cowardly man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman who takes revenge against the ones who destructed her life.

Kiara Advani shared a photo from the sets of the film, announcing that the film has been titled Laxmmi BombShe is seen posing with the clapboard which bears the name of the film.

Amitabh Bachchan may play a transgender ghost in Akshat Kumar’s home production

Akshay Kumar’s home production Cape of Good Films will be producing Laxmmi Bomb along with Fox Star Studios.

Reports stated that megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the movie. ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ is slated to release June 5 next year. At present, Akshay is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi. He will be romancing Katrina Kaif on screen after a long time.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar has already the shot for Good News also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. The film which was earlier slated to release in September has been pushed to December this year.
