This Ambedkar Jayanti, PM Modi Has Thought Big For Digital Economy Regime

This morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared at Nagpur on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, a Dalit icon. He was also a principle contributor in the constitution of India. PM Modi will be launching two schemes connected with Bharat interface for Money. Also, awards to the lucky winners of Lucky Grahak Yojana and DigiDhan Vyapar Yojna. These schemes were launched in the year 2016 I the month of December.

This was run to give incentive hue to the digital payments in the country.

1. The Prime Minister’s yesterday’s tweet says, “We are unwavering in our efforts towards creating a strong, prosperous and inclusive India of Dr. Ambedkar’s dreams”.

2. In another tweet, he also said, “Will join culmination of the DigiDhan Mela, where I will present awards to Mega Draw winners of Lucky Grahak Yojana and DigiDhan Vyapar Yojna (sic)”.

3. At around 11 am in the morning and gave his first visit to Deekhsbhoomi. This place holds the sacred ethos because Dr. Ambedkar opted Buddhism here. He conducted this holly task along with his followers and it was the day of Ashok Vijaya Dashmi on October 14, 1956. This is his 126th birth anniversary and he offered his prayers here.

4. At Koradi thermal power station, he launched Mahagenco’s 1,980 MW Koradi Thermal Power Project. At this occasion, they had the auspicious occasion of Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and C Vidyasagar Rao.

5. Mankapur sports complex is his next spot for inauguration of education projects.

6. After then, PM Modi’s schedule has many inauguration programme to attend schemes of government. These schemes will be arranged by NITI aayog. With BHIM-Aadhaar interface, digital payments will be enabled with the use of biometric data.

7. A statement by NITI Ayog said, “Any citizen without access to smart phones, the Internet, debit or credit cards will be able to transact digitally through the BHIM-Aadhaar platform, thus realising Ambedkar’s vision of social and financial empowerment for all”.

8. With this event, announcements related to digital payments will also be made along with various referral bonus and cash back schemes. For the period of 6 months, they have outlay of Rs. 495 crore.

9. Prime minister will also declare the 75 townships which will go cashless. All the families will get the cover of the training programme.

10. At the end of the day, PM Narendra Modi will address the mass on the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Many other ministers like Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javedkar, Ramdas Athwale, Piyush Goyal and Hansraj Ahir will accompany them.
