Arijit Singh apologize to Salman Khan

The much awaited trailer of the Salman Khan starer ‘Sultan’ was finally released yesterday at 7:00 pm. The trailer has been loved so much that it has crossed one million views on YouTube. ‘Sultan’ is a sports drama movie directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and Manish Kumar. Salman Khan is seen playing the role of a Haryanvi wrestler in the movie also starring Anushka Sharma in the female lead.

But among the entire buzz about the trailer and the movie, people almost missed out on an incident and so we are here to walk you through it. Later in the night yesterday (the same day the trailer was launched) the sensational Bollywood hit singer Arijit Singh apologize to Salman Khan. The playback singer took it to his Facebook account to post an apology letter for Salman Khan. Why would he do that? What is he actually sorry for? What exactly did happen between him and Salman? Hold on folks! We would answer all your questions, but before just go through his apology letter:

“Dear Mr Salman Khan

This is the last way I thought I would speak to you. I have been trying to text you call you and do everything possible to tell you that you are mistaken about the fact that I insulted you. I never did. That night in the show It was the wrong time and wrong aura.
Nevertheless you felt insulted.
And I understood and I felt extremely sorry about it as me and my family have been your fan since long. I tried to explain so many times but you never got it. I apologized but you never got it. How many times I sent you apology texts you also know.
At Nita Ji’s place I only came back to apologize to you but you dint get it.
No problem I apologize here In front of everyone but please it is a request.
Please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan. You want anyone else to sing this song, absolutely fine but keep a version at least. I have sung enough songs sir. But I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling.
I don’t know why am I doing this I know the consequences
People are going to write their heart and mind and everything. I also know you won’t be bothered Mr Salman Khan.
Still I think I need to take it out. After all I have to live with this fact that you made sure that I don’t sing for you even though so many of us requested.
But I will be a fan bhaijaan..
Jagg ghumeya thare jaisa na koi..

Regards
Yours truly
Arijit Singh

Let there be light”

The singer posted this after there were rumours that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor felt disrespected and offensive by the singer Arijit Singh at a musical gala lately. Though there are no clarifications from any side that are the rumours true or has he apologised for the same.

Arijit Singh posted this Facebook note later in the night and then deleted it. But he didn’t delete another Facebook post where he wrote that he hopes his letter reaches Mr. Khan through some or the other way.

Not just this in his note he literally begged Salman Khan to not remove the only song he sang for his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’. But the main reason behind his song being dropped out from the film is not yet disclosed.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie is set to hit the theatres this Eid. In case you have missed it, watch here the official trailer of Sultan:

Anyways, what do you think about Arijit’s letter? Do you think he did right by apologising what was rumoured? Or do you think he should have solved this out personally and not bringing it socially? Tell us your views in the comments!
