Dayashankar’s wife seeks action against BSP workers; meets UP Governor

Swati Singh, wife of expelled BJP leader, Dayashankar Singh has decided to put the BSP workers and party supremo behind the bars for molesting her family and passing derogatory remarks on her mother-in-law, daughter and herself while protesting against her husband. In the matter, she met the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Ram Naik on Sunday afternoon. She filed a complaint about the degrading remarks passed by the workers and carried the video recordings of the protest rallies as a proof. She submitted the proof to the Governor and asks for the imposition of POSCO (Protection of Children against Sexual Abuse) Act on all the BSP leaders including the party head Mayavati for the obscene remarks passed for her 12-year old daughter.

The Naik has observed the sensitivity of the case and has asked the Director General of Police, Javeed Ahmed to investigate the case and examine the CD provided by Swati Singh.

Swati Singh seeks a proper action against the culprits. Swati is an MBA from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and was very upset regarding the whole incident which took her family by shock. She said, “I have an academic background and have never wished to come forward in this manner before the media or in public, but situations have forced me to. My husband had immediately apologized for his remarks but these leaders used objectionable language again and again, against my minor daughter in public and BSP chief Mayawati is not at all apologetic for it. These remarks are very disturbing and are even more traumatic as coming from a lady herself.”
