The teaser of the movie begins with the beautiful song from 90’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ where Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor shares his feelings what he felt after seeing a girl and sing her praises. But, that love story was simple. It’s 2018 and true love can’t be happen without syaapa or problems, says Sonam Kapoor in teaser. The teaser features father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor along with Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao. It is for the first time Anil and Sonam will be on screened together.

Set in Punjabi backdrop, the teaser is extremely vibrant. Mustard fields, wedding festivities and gurudwara strewn locales take you to Punjab. Sonam will be in avatar of simple Punjabi girl Sweety Chaudhary while Rajkummar Rao will be his love interest.
Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, it is a romantic drama. ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani films in association with Fox Star Studios. The movie is to release on October 12, 2018.
