This year, 19-year old Tamil Nadu girl Miss Anukreethy Vas had been crowned Femina Miss India 2018. She was crowned by Miss World Manushi Chhillar. It was the 55th edition of Femina Miss India 2018 pageant held at Dome, NSCI Stadium, Mumbai. In the beauty pageant, the first and second runner ups were Miss Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana and Miss Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh.

This beauty pageant winner is pursuing BA in French from Loyola college. Her interest lies in modeling and acting. She loves to sing and dance. Apart from this, she is also a state level athlete and passionate bike-rider. She also held few other awards like Miss India Tamil Nadu 2018, Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile 2018 and Miss India Miss Fashion Icon (South) 2018.
It was a grand event as it had beauty, elegance and glamour. The event was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Ayushmann Khurrana. Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez graced the event with their performances.
The glamorous event had a judge panel of celebrities which included Miss World 2017 and former Miss India Manushi Chhillar, ace fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, cricketers Irfan Pathan and K L Rahul, Indian journalist Faye D’Souza and Bollywood actors Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor.
She won this prestigious title of Miss India 2018 after competing with 30 contestants. These contestants were divided into four zones with one mentor each. Now, Anukreethy Vas will represent India at Miss World 2018.
