The girls of New Delhi are curbed into fear as each day there is news of gang rape from one or the other parts of the city. The recent report has come from the posh locality of South Delhi’s Kalkaji where a 16-year old school going girl of class 10th is being physically abused and gang raped for continuous two days.
The police report that the incident happened in a flat in Kalkaji area of South Delhi, where a school girl is allegedly gang-raped by two men.
The victim girl is Government school student in Gurgaon, who was held captive in a flat in the Kalkaji area on Saturday and Sunday (August 6th and 7th) by accused naming Sanjay Kumar and Karan Singh, who gang raped her and two of their associates, Kala and Mahesh has even filmed the whole incident on their mobile phones.
The victim lodged the complaint with Praveen Malik, SHO, Badhshahpur police station on Monday stating the name of accused saying, Karan is a native of Palra village, was known to her, whereas Sanjay is a native of Dhani Shkohpur. Mahesh and Kala were reported to be residents of Karan’s village.
According to the Girl, the prime accused, Karan had picked her up from a Gurgaon Bus stand on Saturday and took her to a temple in Kalkaji on his motorbike.
The SHO of Badhshahpur police station said, “The victim alleged that after the visit to the temple, Karan took her to a flat in the same area and later, three of his friends joined them. Subsequently, while Karan and Sanjay took turns to rape her, Mahesh and Kala video graphed the act. They also threatened her with dire consequences if she reported it to anyone”.
The accused released the victim after keeping her captive for 2 days with life-threatening warnings.
“She reached home at Badshahpur in Gurgaon on Monday and narrated the incident to her parents who lodged the police complaint,” he added.
Initially, the victim alleged that Mahesh also raped her along with Karan and Sanjay but before the Magistrate, she accused Karan and Sanjay of molesting and raping her whereas Mahesh and Kala were filming the incident on their mobile phones so that they could blackmail her later, said Malik.
The medical examination confirmed the rape charges and a case under sections 363 (abduction), 365 (abducting with an intent of secretly and wrongfully confining a person), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was filed and lodged against all the four accused men, whereas Karan and Sanjay are also charged with section 376D (gangrape), IPC.
Malik also informed that there are no arrests till now as all the accused are absconding.
