After a series of shameful defeats in major states of the country, the veteran party Congress is making efforts to regain its lost territory. Not only, are they making important changes in the positions of the party leaders, their recent decision regarding Ashok Gehlot attracted much of trolling from the BJP leaders.
Falling of Congress is bringing an unexpected spunk in the BJP leaders. Recently, Congress made the former CM Ashok Gehlot as the General Secretary of the party for Gujarat region. By the end of this year, Gujarat Vidhan Sabha elections will be conducted and Congress is fastening the belts for the combat.
Gehlot has also been made as the General Secretary of AICC. Ever since, the veteran politician has shifted from his role of Chief Minister, he has become the center of mockery. The scams of the Gehlot government are appearing from every corner of the state. Undoubtedly, he has lost his decorum in Rajasthan which has left very minute chances of Congress coming back in the state.
Following the entire trend, BJP leaders are taking jibes at Gehlot’s new designations which are not entirely wrong. Health Minister Kalicharan Saraf made sharp remarks on Gehlot and mentioned that “Even after staying as Chief Minister in Rajasthan, Gehlot could not help his party so what big he will do in Gujarat now”.
He also added that despite Gehlot being CM in the state, Congress got 21 seats in the state. He mockingly highlighted that Gehlot will maintain the similar decorum in Gujarat also and will help in abolishing Congress in Gujarat.
Besides, Congress has chosen Gehlot over Gurdas Kamat in Gujarat and has revamped the complete party structure in Gujarat. Not to mention, the party is planning a concurrent shot and wants to meet the dual motives here. At one shot, they want to win Gujarat and with other shot they want to compete with PM Modi for Gujarat being his homeland. Congress must realize that, in a short duration, it has lost more than needed and with defamed politicians like Gehlot, it is even bringing its pea size chances to a danger.
