The exit polls for the Gujarat assembly elections are out and almost all of them have predicted the return of the BJP to power with an absolute majority. On the other hand, the Congress is on the second number, while the Aam Aadmi Party, which entered the fray for the first time in the assembly elections, seems to be winning only a few seats.
Gujarat:
Voting for 93 seats in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections ended on Monday. According to the Election Commission, about 58.68 percent votes were cast in the second phase. In the second phase, the electoral fate of 832 other candidates including Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and 285 independent candidates will be decided. Exit polls will start coming shortly after the end of polling in the evening.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel were among the early voters who exercised their franchise at various booths in Ahmedabad.
Himachal Pradesh:
The results of Himachal Pradesh elections will be in front of everyone after two days i.e. on 8 December 2022. Before that, the results of exit polls have come on 5th December. In these results, there is a tremendous fight between BJP and Congress. Although BJP seems to be getting an edge in some exit polls, but in most of the exit polls, a close fight is being told. After the results of the exit polls, figures have started to be clashed regarding whose government will be formed in the state. Due to lack of clear results of the exit polls, discussions and debates continued till late night among the people of the state as to who will form the government in Himachal Pradesh.
Delhi:
All the exit polls have predicted a major upset in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. According to the poll, the BJP, which has been in MCD for 15 years, will lose power. Aam Aadmi Party can have a big victory. Five agencies had conducted the survey regarding MCD. Everyone has predicted absolute majority for Aam Aadmi Party in this election. Aaj Tak Axis My India predicted AAP 149 to 171, Times Now ETG 146 to 156, India News Jan Ki Baat 150 to 175, TV9 On the Spot 145 and Zee News Bark predicted Aam Aadmi Party 134 to 146 seats. guessed. At the same time, BJP is expected to get 70 to 94 seats. Three to 14 seats can go to Congress’s account. Others may get zero to 14 seats.
