Voting for 27 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana began on Saturday. The elections will decide the fate of the 27 seats for which BJP and Congress are engaged in a battle. The voting began on Saturday morning at 09:00am and continued till 04:00pm in the respective capitals of the states.  The counting will then begin after an hour break from 05:00pm and the final results and the ultimate fate of the seats will be declared around 07:00pm.

HARYANA: All the 90 lawmakers have cast their votes and the ballot box has been closed.

UTTAR PRADESH: Result will come out around 06:30 and 07:00 as the counting will begin from 5oc.

KARNATAKA: Voting ends after some heated arguments in the pooling booth in Gulbarga.

MADHYA PRADESH: Polling ends in Bhopal.

UTTARAKHAND: Polling has been concluded and soon the counting would begin.

JHARKHAND: Ballot Box will be soon opened for the counting of the votes.

RAJASTHAN: Ballot box has been sealed as the polling gets over in capital city Jaipur.
