He was also surprised that regardless of being a non-celebrity, he defeated the popular TV personality Bani J in the Bigg Boss 10 finale. The besieged winner received the Bigg Boss trophy and cash prize worth Rs 40 lakhs by Salman Khan last night.

Today, Manveer is the most talked common man of India as he donated about fifty percent of his prize money (Rs 20 lakh) to Salman Khan’s charity foundation, ‘Being Human’. This is four times the amount donated by last year’s celebrity winner Prince Narula. Gurjar gives its credit to his father because it was his decision to donate the sum for charity purpose.

Manveer Gurjar Speaks his Heart Out on Bigg Boss 10

  • “I was scared of Bani J’s fan following, but I feel that she’s an inspiration for women”.

Manveer said that he was afraid of Bani’s increasing popularity in the house because most of the celebrities and ex-contestants were siding with her. But, he gained his lost confidence during an episode where the contestants were taken to the mall and the audience present on-spot cheered him.

While on the show, Manveer admired Bani J for her ‘carefree, bold personality’. With muscles, an athletic built, tattoos and piercing, Bani J presents a unique persona of her own. She sends a strong message out to the public that “Ladkiyan aisi bhi hoti hain”.

  • “After sharing a close bond with Manu, it would hurt me if he badmouths me in public.”

Upon exiting from Bigg Boss’s house, many people have informed him that Manu took the credit for his win. Manveer chose to let it go because he doesn’t get influenced by what others say. However, if Manu ever badmouths him in public, it would hurt him.

  • “I felt like an outcast in Bigg Boss’s house in the first week because people regarded him as a Gaonwala”.

Bigg Boss contestants took a long time to warm up to Manveer in the first few weeks because they thought he was a simple, less-educated man hailing from a rural background. However, as he gradually adapted his new surroundings, things got smoother.

  • “I felt like taking revenge from Bani”.

When Bani nominated him in the first week without giving a solid reason, Manveer felt bad. Things got worse between them after she became the house captain. She punished Manveer and made him do the dishes. Therefore, he made things harder for her, when he became the captain later.

  • “I always played with my heart”.

Unlike other contestants, Manveer never played with his brain, but his heart. He never pretended to be someone else and portrayed him as he is in the real life.

Regardless of what people say, Manveer and Nitibha are just friends.

  • “I don’t share any romantic relations with Nitibha”.

Despite what people say, Manveer and Nitibha like each other as friends and their relationship is nothing but friendship.

  • “I may shift to Mumbai if I get good offers”.

As of now, Manveer doesn’t have any future plans but he might consider shifting to Mumbai if he gets good offers in the future. He finds it hard to do scripted roles because he’s camera shy and he tends to fumble. Nevertheless, he may try his luck in reality TV shows.
