Nana Patekar’s unconventionality is not limited to the silver screen but he is a genuine hero in real life too. His helping hands have been healing and aiding so many needy people and still somehow his philanthropy is unnoticed. We understand that the good actor may not care whether his acts are being publicized or not but the unnerving fact which should gain attention is that worlds time and energy is all focused on frivolous gestures rather than the worthy ones. This has to stop, and soon.
Patekar’s helping hand for hopeless farmers was a superb gesture which is still in most of our memories and here is again why we should all respect this uncanny actor for his motivational act for those dead farmers’ widows. The newly and old widowed women have been supported with new sewing machines by Mr Patekars NGO, in a way for them to unleash their precious energies over work they can do and are happy doing. Because to overcome the hard times of losing one’s life partner is the most difficult thing to do ever and if there is one mode of relief or positive distraction made available for these people in distress then that is the best thing one can do.
Nana Patekar has showed us all, that he is one human being who truly cares for the people genuinely needing help and encouragement. He not only made them feel like they were not alone, but also provided them with a means for livelihood. We can say that humanity still ensures some faith in itself seeing the authentic person Nana is. He is definitely a real life hero.
