Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate projects worth 27000 crores in Rajasthan

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Rajasthan will be followed by a series of unprecedented developments in the infrastructural landscape of Rajasthan – ambitious highway projects coming to life coupled with an intention of creating seamless intra-connectivity across the desert state.

PM Modi visit to Udaipur

PM Modi, who happens to visit Udaipur on August 29 will inaugurate as many as 9500 juggernaut projects in Rajasthan. These projects will be worth Rs 27000 crores and will engulf National Highway projects, state roads, and rural roads.

Inauguration of prime projects

PM Modi will inaugurate 5606 road-infrastructure based projects and lay the foundation stone for 3908 projects.  The projects will be inaugurated by PM Modi in the presence of CM Raje and Union Roadways Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Projects in the ambit of Central State government

These projects include development projects under National highways, state roads and rural roads under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and CM Vasundhara Raje’s Grameen Gaurav Path.

Stretched over 14,371 km area, PM Modi will inaugurate 11 completed NH projects in Rajasthan, including a six-lane cable stayed bridge across the river Chambal in Kota.

Rajasthan has also adopted a build-operate and transfer (BOT) model and has become one of the leading states in deploying the same. In this model, projects are completed under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
