People Acted Promptly To Make Way For Stuck Ambulance During the Mock Drill

On Monday, an ambulance with carrying a serious heart attack patient was in constant negotiation with the heavy morning traffic to step into the near hospital. Only during that time, Jai Kishan, a Vasant Bagh dweller stepped away with his bike to make way for the ambulance at Gopalpura Bypass Chauraha.

Actually, it was a mock drill controlled by Times of India teamed up with CK Birla Hospitals. This was intended to stem awareness among Jaipur people on traffic management when there is some critical patient being carried in the ambulance.

During this, Jai Kishan with his father Kishan Chand were in commute towards their cycle shop in Kishan Pole market. And, during this, 9 people were awarded with the tag of “life savers” as they moved their vehicle aside giving way to rushing ambulances.

Just like Jai Kishan, PN Sanariya, a dweller of Mansarovar and a banker got  the badge of “life saver” at Laxmi Mandir Chauraha. Raja Ram Chandra, a dweller of Surya Nagar and Kushal Banthia, dweller of Jawahar Nagar was also prized with the same title. At Rambagh Circle, two people Chiraguddin, who is a dweller of Khetri appeared with his family to Jaipur in car and Sirajuddin who was coming back to home after dropping his daughter at an coaching institute at Gandhi Nagar quickly made way for the moving ambulance. Also, at Trimurti Circle, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who was selected in Rajasthan Administrative Services, Ashok Kumar Bunkar, a teacher of a private school, came forward to make way for ambulance. A student, Khushbu Khandelwal, also gave its way to ambulance by moving away her bike.

Also, a traffic policeman was very prompt after hearing the sirens of a puzzled ambulance at traffic area. He allowed the stuck vehicles to move aside even during the red light and helped in making way for the ambulance.
