15th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit is launched by PM Narendra Modi in partnership with CNN-News18. Talking about the reforms like demonetisation and Aadhaar for benefits, PM Modi said that he was ready to pay “political price” for them. This summit always has discussions about crucial matters. In this event of two-day, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, former US president Barack Obama, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and many others will be a part.

He praised the Demonetisation and its effects at HT Leadership Summit. He shared that demonetisation has helped in getting important data in the banking system. Now, government is able to keep a track of accounts of the each company. Even the Aadhar card helps in curbing the crime and taking action against such unethical activities.

PM Narendra Modi also talked about the reforms in the country like digital platform is now available for farmers for trading. He also said that the winning of seat by Indian judge in ICJ showcase the power of India in the world. He further added that in 2022, it will be 75 years of Independence of India and we all have to achieve a lot.
Narendra Modi also questioned the work of media in India. He said it’s negative and doubt on the potential. After Modi, the next speaker at HT Leadership Summit is Afghanistan’s chief executive, Dr Abdullah Abdullah.
