PV Sindhu bagged silver at Super Series Finals 2017

PV Sindhu lost to Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi at Super Series Final 2017 held in Dubai but won many hearts. It’s no surprise that Sindhu has showcased her talent at numerous occasions with her brilliance at Badminton but this time had to make peace with the silver medal at the Final in Dubai.

However, the player was lauded for her efforts and was congratulated by Twitterati. In fact, many pointed out that it was a commendable fight from both the players and the game was indeed “nail-biting” till the end.

There were 3 sets played in the match whereby Sindhu emerged as the winner in the first one by 15-21. However, in the next round, Yamaguchi took the lead by 21-12 and people were eagerly waiting for the third round. Although Yamaguchi won the last one by 21-19 thereby bagging the gold, people praised PV Sindhu for reaching to the finals and presenting a great match.

With this match, Sindhu has become the second Indian female shuttler to finish with a silver medal in the tournament. Soon after the game ended, Sindhu’s fans congratulated her on Twitter and then a series of tweets surfaced, full of praises.
