Every year the centre and the state governments prepare a budget for the country and states to work out the allotment of funds for various schemes. As the month of March approaches near, the entire population looks forward to the annual budget for the coming fiscal year. Expectations, ideas and discussions float in the air, when the leaders set out for the state assembly.

Here’s why Rajasthan Budget 2017 is going to be a game-changer for Rajasthan this year.

  • With this year’s budget, Rajasthan government will try to reallocate resources for public welfare and profit maximisation in key sectors.
  • Knowing that labour class, farmers and housewives have experienced economic problems due to note ban, the government will try to ease the pain by announcing subsidies and tax concessions.
  • The government might encourage the concept of smart villages and the use of khaki products.
  • They’ll target economic inequality and attempt to raise standards of living in the rural and tribal regions of Rajasthan.
  • There have been some fluctuations due to inflation, change of policies and demonetisation. The government will try to achieve economic stability by maximizing production and trade activities.

10.51: CM Raje reaches Vidhan Sabha for 4th budget announcement.

10.55: On this auspicious occasion , she receives birthday wishes with bouquets, flowers and blessings from all ministers and MLAs clad in traditional attires.

11.02 : CM Raje receives heartly congratulations on her birthday from Vidhan Sabha Adhyaksh. CM Raje is looking elegant in white and yellow saari.

11:03 CM Raje startes announcing 4th budget of Rajasthan. She speaks about various recognitions received by state government for running various innovative schemes in the state.

11.06: Previous budgets focused on more investments, employment opportunities, ease of doing business, better health facilities and better economic conditions of villages, Optimum utilisation of resources has been focused. State govt. is focusing on paperless budget.

11.07: Within three years, state govt. spent Rs. 20,822 crore on road construction in comparison to previous govt. which was very less.

11.22: Announced many “Peyjal Pariyojna” from Chambal river which will be improved.

11.23: State govt. focusing on 67 peyjal pariyojna (drinking water scheme)

11.24: With rs. 80 crore 80 lakh, drinking water scheme will be run in Bundi district. 

11:25: RO Plant will be implemented in village areas

11.26 1483 more RO plants will be executed in village areas.

11.27: Jaipur will be provided with 24*7 water facilities,

11.28: target of clean water in more than 2000 villages

11.29 Under energy conservation model, many cities will be provided with safe drinking water with better technology.

11.55: Village banks will be provided Rs. 370 crore for crop loans for farmers.

12.00: For Animal husbandry, new animal treatment centers will be opened.
12.01: 900 new health officers will be recruited.

12.09: For SC/ST students from BPL families will be provided the facilities of hostels under Adarsh Vidhayalaya.

12.19: Top 100 candidates of RAS Exam conducted by RPSC will get Rs. 30000/-

12.24: SMS convention ground in Jaipur will see improvements with Hocky grounds, meditation center etc.
12.26:  Sports sector will be get benefit of 24.30% higher outlay in 2017-18.
12.30: With Rs. 19 crore and 69 lakh, govt. schools will be provided multi functional printer and internet facilities will be provided.
12.31: More number of classrooms, computer labs,sports grounds will be improved in government schools
12.32: To more thann 3 lakh girl students in govt. schools, self defence training will be provided.
12.35: With the help of Rs. 48 crore expense, colleges will be improved.
12.36: Rs. 1,399 crore will be spent on higher education in the state by state govt.

12.38: Breast cancer campaigns will be run in  health centers.
12.41: SMS Jaipur will be provided Rs. 20 crore for heart transplant facilities
12.42: Kidney transplant facilities will be provided in kota with Rs. 8 crores
12.43: Rs. 2,574 crore will be spent on health sector.
12.44: Monetary help to unemployed have been increased to Rs. 650 per month for boys, Rs. 750 per month for girls.\
12.51: Smart city companies have been formed and
12.52: Annapurna Rasoi Yojana was started by state govt. This scheme will be executed at all districts of the state.
12.53: In coming year Wi-fi facility will be provided at 650 tourist places.
12.54:  Villages will be illuminated with solar power system. The villages with more than 5000 population  be converted into smart village areas.
12.56: 8 lakh people will be provided IT trainings.
12.57: All municipal towns will have Wi-fi faciltiy.
1.00: Cyber forensic cells will be started in important cities giving boost to cyber security.
1.04: CCTVs will be implanted in jails with expense of Rs. 4 crores.
1.06: Home department will get 11.83% higher allocation in coming year.
1.07: Basic facilities will be provided in jails with Rs. 16.62 crores.

1.08: 17 new sub treasury buildings will be constructed.
1.12: Deemed Assessment Scheme will be implied for VAT, Entry Tax, Luxury Tax and Entertainment Tax to be notified for the assessment year 2015-16 and subsequent years.
 1.13: Under Luxury Tax Act., provisions will be made for waiver of interest, penalty and late fees.

1.14: Benefit to Micro and Small Enterprises, explanation is given for non-clubbing of investment in different enterprises setup under the same ownership.

 1.16: VAT on ATF will fall to 1% under Regional Connectivity Scheme of Government of India.

1.25: Stamp duty has been reduced from 5 to 3 percent and registration fees will be  reduced from one percent to 0.25 percent and maximum rupees 10000/- on partition deed of other than ancestral property.
 1.26: Jaipur Divisional Office of Commercial Taxes Department will see additional budilding block construction. Additional building block will be constructed at Excise Head quarter at Udaipur, new buildings will see constructed for EPF Sriganganagar, DEO Kota, AEO EPF Jhunjunu, Sriganganagar, Churu, Kotputli AEO EPF, PO and line office at Nagour, Baran and Kota.
With great hopes and executions, CM Raje concluded the budget session with some nurturing and lively poetic lines.
