Unsung SHEROES of our lives deserve more than just one day. Happy Women’s day to you beauties!

We are surrounded by women in our entire life. They are our mentors, guides, soul-sisters, teachers, mothers and what not. Tomorrow is the International Women’s day. These days may come and go but the importance of special women in our lives would never get underrated.

If not everyday, let us atleast pledge to dedicate tomorrow for the special women in our life – daughter, mother or/ and your wife. We love them, don’t we?

With each passing day, these women become more beautiful at heart and gracious at soul. We are left speechless at the immense contribution of these women into shaping our lives the way it should be.

We don’t give enough time to female in our lives. Not because we can’t, but because we cannot afford to miss our job or our entrepreneurial venture. But common guys, there is this one day on which we can fully dedicate ourselves to those hardworking lovely women. Well, I certainly will. You should also buck up.

Tomorrow, let’s get them shopping, let’s dig out their places top know which one she likes the most. Even if she asks for 100 selfies tomorrow, we should not become a spoilsport. It is literally these small things which look mediocre today, but go on to create memories which last for a lifetime.

Women embrace a lot of hardships and make lot of compromises in their everyday life. From body shaming to embracing pangs of acting at par with societal norms, women are forced to think twice before speaking. As a tool to satisfy social expectations, women often bottle up their emotions. This leads to mental agony and this paves way for frustration.

Resultantly, a mental angst sets in. Women then look for avenues to vent their angst. Until this time, a woman who has immense inner potential to transform things and lead people gets cornered and isolated into oblivion. Instead of channelizing her inner child and creativity, she is made a subject of physical abuse and mental torture.

In India, there are a plethora of areas which are still not freed from heinous crimes like flesh trading, girl child trafficking and eve teasing which persists pan India. There is a common practise of girl child marriage which is highly prevalent in India.

Child marriages hamper and thwart the natural progression of a woman’s life. She is subjected to physical shame and premature pregnancies which engender severe effects on the health of women in question.

Women must be honoured, because this is far from what they deserve. It is our responsibility as educated individuals to stand up for women who are indecorously victimised for what? For being women.

It’s about time we step up for them, because every step counts. Because we will make it count. Happy Women’s day.
