Saif Ali Khan expressed his fear of Sacred Games not being given any attention by anyone. He was oblivion to the idea of success which his net series Sacred Games could achieve.

The original series Sacred Games started streaming on Netflix from July 6 and has garnered a million eyeballs since then. This is an adaptation of the 2006 Vikram Chandra novel named ‘Sacred Games’ and was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap.

The net series features Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in the main lead. Saif, being true to himself, has deviated from the normal and venture into the cosmos of digital viewing. He is playing the role of a police inspector.

Saif expressed his fear of not gaining enough traction from the audiences. However, after being asked how he feels after the sweeping success of the series, he says he is enjoying it. He said that he is simply enjoying being a part of the show. He also loves the fact that the series is competing globally. It is being viewed as a good pick by Netflix viewers.

On being asked if he was apprehensive about entering the Netflix world. He said that it is very natural these days. He said that the guys were serious about the content they were producing and the entire team was doing good.

He said the movie has elements like sex or badmouthing because the story demanded, and not for the sake of it. He shed light on the storytelling procession in tales of the Mughals or the Mahabharata or the Ramayana.

We did not have bad language or sex for the sake of it. We wanted to tell a story, and this medium is fantastic because there are so many stories out there that should be told. Like the story of the Mughals or the Mahabharata or the Ramayana, which he claims was interestingly done.
