Our Bollywood celebrities just find their own ways to remain in news and this time, it’s our very own King of Bollywood, who is in news for all wrong reasons. Today, early morning, actor Shahrukh Khan was detained at the Los Angeles airport by the US immigration department because of some issues. It surely was not an easy day for the numerous fans of Shahrukh. It was not the first time that the superstar is queued at a US airport. It is kind of a regular treatment which Shahrukh receives from the US immigration department, each time he travels to US. Shahrukh twitted about the incident on his twitter page and was seem quite miffed at the US immigration department.
His tweet said, “I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.” He also posted a subsequest tweet regarding this which said, “The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons.”

Meanwhile, the State Department’s take on the issue was confusing. They couldnot explain the reason for which Shahrukh was detained at the Airport.
The incident took over the internet like storm as his loyal fans condemned the incident while many mocked the happening.

Incidents when Shahrukh got detained at the American Airport:-
- When Shahrukh was visiting Yale University in 2012, he was detained for more than 2 hours. That time, the US customs and border protection authorities had expressed their “profound” apologies for the superstar’s detention.
- In the year 2009, he was detained by the immigration department at the Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, because his name had surfaced on a computer alert list.
After today’s incident, the Assistant Secretary of state for south and central Asia in the US Department of State, Ms. Nisha Desai Biswal has appologised to the actor for all the mess through a tweet.
As far as Shahrukh is concerned, he also has a take on his continuous detentions at the US airports and says, “Whenever I start feeling too arrogant about myself, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom.”
