The Jungle Book, the 2016 fantasy adventure movie which released on 8th April 2016 in India is doing a great business. The movie is about an orphan boy who is guided and protected by his animal guardians and friends. This American fantasy adventure film is directed by Jon Favreau and is produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
Every 90’s child grew up in India watching Mogli the Hindi version of the movie in a form of TV serial and thus is going wild in the country. From child to adult every individual is only making out time to watch the movie. The movie within the 12 days of its release has earned more than $23.7 million which also makes it the highest grosser Hollywood movie in India.
Before this it was the Fast and Furious 7 which grossed highest of $23.4 million after being run on 2800 screens all over the country. Unlike it the Jungle Book was only released over 1500 screens and has impressively broken all the records.
