His next endeavour ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is no exception. The actor’s look in the film has impressed one and all as he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. If this wasn’t enough, the one reason you need to book your tickets is that it stares Amitabh Bachchan. This is an inexplicable combination of phenomenally articulative and dedicated individuals.
The film is based on the popular novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’ by Philip Meadows Taylor which tells the story of Imperial thugs who robbed the rich and elite travellers in India during the 1830s. In ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Aamir will be seen flaunting a heavy beard and a handlebar moustache.
If sources are to be believed, the cute Shraddha Kapoor had to go through an Appearance test for the same. Fortunately, she was also signed in as the lead heroine opposite Mr. Perfectionist.
Aamir Khan had earlier said during Dangal promotions, “In Thugs, my look is not like a wrestler’s physique – big and broad shoulders and back. I want a leaner look”.
The actor also informed that shooting for Thugs will commence in March 2017. It is being produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Vijay Krishna ‘Victor’ Acharya.
Meanwhile, the latest look for her film ‘Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai’ is out earlier this week. It starres Shraddha as the Hasseen Parker, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. Following the record of OK Jaanu, the first look of this film has left her fans to a dichotomy of reviews. While she is looking all pretty and sweet, reviews suggest that Shraddha has not immersed into the skin of the character.
