Semi high speed train Vande Bharat Express remains the first choice of passengers. This is the reason why the Railway Ministry is increasing the production of these trains. More than six Vande Bharat Express will be produced in the coming two months. The ministry is planning that by March, a total of 16 Vande Bharat trains should be on the track. However, a target of 75 Vande Bharat trains has been set by August.
According to the information received, three Vande Bharat trains will be ready at ICF Chennai in February and March. Recently, after the departure of two Vande Bharat trains simultaneously from Mumbai, the total number of Vande Bharat trains has gone up to 10, which are running on different routes. The country’s first Vande Bharat was started in 2019 and so far eight states have received the gift of Vande Bharat. Seeing the increasing popularity of Vande Bharat Express train, many more states have started demanding it.
The first train ran in February 2019
The country’s first Vande Bharat train ran from New Delhi to Varanasi. This train was run in February 2019. The second train was run between New Delhi to Shri Vaishno Devi Katra. While the third train was started between Gandhinagar and Mumbai. The fourth train was started between New Delhi to Amb Andaura station Himachal. The fifth Vande Bharat was run from Chennai to Mysore. Sixth Vande Bharat is running between Nagpur to Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Similarly, the seventh Vande Bharat train was started from Howrah in West Bengal to New Jalpaiguri and the eighth Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad in Telangana to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. While recently Vande Bharat has started from Mumbai to Shirdi and Mumbai to Solapur in Maharashtra. According to the states, so far Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have got the gift of Vande Bharat.

Maharashtra is the only state where four Vande Bharat trains operate. Seeing the increasing popularity of Vande Bharat trains, many more states have started demanding it. Punjab has demanded Vande Bharat train from Delhi to Amritsar and Bathinda. Apart from this, it can be announced to run Vande Bharat soon in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Kerala and North East.
