If I ignore voices of farmers, I am not worthy of the seat: Vasundhara Raje

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently rolled back hiked rates of electricity tariffs on farmers. On Monday, farmers in large numbers paid a visit to Raje to express their heart-felt gratitude towards the earnest efforts of Raje in plummeting the mounting financial pressure on the farmers. Framers from not only Jaipur but also Alwar came to express their vote of thanks to the CM.

If I ignore voices of farmers, I am not worthy of the seat

Raje reiterated that tools of injustice will not be deployed in accomplishing tasks. She reaffirmed that no form of dishonesty or perfidy will be entertained in the state. She said to farmers,” I have been elected to serve and not rule. If I ignore voices of farmers, I am not worthy of the seat.” She added, “It is our responsibility to listen to your voices and act accordingly to ensure your aspirations are fulfilled. “

Congress has made steep pits which will take time to recover

Vasundhara Raje took a jibe at the Congress, while calling them friends who sit at the house together. She highlighted that a lot has been done to restore electricity tariffs—the decision which was highly slammed by the Congress initially.

She claimed that in her tenure from 2003-08, the state was equipped with new electricity lines which were overused and imprudently under the Congress tenure by their people.

She also stated that Congress has left massive pits in the city which are being worked upon—which will take time. Currently, the area of electricity is being focused and earnest efforts are being made towards bettering circumstances in the State, as a whole.

Raje highlighted that past mistakes will not be repeated.

She also claimed that every possible effort has been taken to downsize and eliminate corruption from the system altogether. Many culprits have been sent to jail to ensure that every action can be implemented smoothly. She reiterated, “ In past, we have not resorted to perfidy or dishonesty to upscale our vote banks. We will continue to make honest promises in the future too.”
