The IPL opening ceremony will be a glitzy affair at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. Although RCB has been displaying quite good performance in all seasons of IPL but hasn’t ever been able to lift the trophy. In 2011, RCB managed to reach the final of the tournament owing to their robust performance and unprecedented form.
The RCB batting unit for the 11th season will be strengthened further with the presence of former New Zealand batsman McCullum, South Africa wicketkeeper batsmen Quinton De Kock and Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel. The spin department of RCB will be led by Chahal, Washington Sundar, M Ashwin and Pawan Negi.
