India’s current cricketing star Virat Kohli got another grand opportunity to outshine his career as a sportsperson. Young and energetic caption of Indian Test Team and Royal Challengers Bangalore has been nominated for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). With him Ajinkya Rahane’s name has been given for Arjuna Award.
One BCCI source said “Kohli’s name has been sent to the Sports Ministry for the Khel Ratna and Rahane for the Arjuna Award.”
Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award is the highest and the most prestigious award in the field of sports.
