Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Khoon ki Dalali’ remark didn’t sit well with the public that slammed him with gut-busting tweets that will have you rolling in laughter.
We knew Rahul Gandhi is a naive, obtuse, “Momma’s boy” wrapped in cotton wool, but we didn’t expect him to show off his intelligence (or rather the lack of it) in public. Though, he never fails to disappoint us with lack of drama, this time, he took ‘foolery’ to a whole new level with his recent anti-Modi comments on India’s surgical strike against Pakistan.
While addressing a rally on 6th October, Rahul Gandhi commented on Prime Minister:
” Humare jawan hain jinho ne khoon diya hai, jinho ne surgical strike kiya, unke khoon ke peeche aap (as in PM Narendra Modi) chhupe huye ho. Unke khoon ki aap dalali kar rahe ho.”
He may have wanted to question PM Modi’s motives behind keeping things confidential in this matter, but he surely didn’t land in our good books with this dialogue. It triggered a series of controversies with the entire nation slamming him for his fiery overstatement, especially the Twitteratis.
