Earlier this week an African attacked in Hyderabad over parking tiff made headlines. A Nigerian student was attacked and bashed in public by a local after they had a little argument over the parking in the city Hyderabad. The incident happened when on Wednesday the Nigerian parked his vehicle outside Mohammed Ghafoor’s residence in Hyderabad and when asked by him to remove his vehicle from that certain place, he refused. This turned into an argument and the duo started fighting.
The 23 year old Nigerian student Ghazeem was beaten with a rod by Ghafoor. The sub-inspector Krishna who is now handling the case said, “Ghazeem refused to heed and a scuffle broke out. Ghafoor took a rod and hit him on his head.”
Gazeem is a third year student in the Nizam college of Hyderabad. He was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident. He has been treated by the doctors who managed to sew up his wounds with 8 stitches.
Before this an African student was beaten up in the capital city of Delhi. Seeing the continues failure of India in being proviing safety to the African students in the different parts of the nation, Diplomats of various African nations had decided to boycott ‘Africa Day’ celebrations on Wednesday to protest against the same.
