India Zimbabwe Tour 2016 : Sanjay Bangar selected as the coach

India Zimbabwe Tour 2016 – is Indian cricket teams next tour is in Zimbabwe which starts from 11th of June will have a new head coach, Sanjay Bangar. 43 year old Bangar was the former all rounder in the cricketing field and has been Indian teams batting coach as well. For the job of the fielding coach, ex-domestic cricketer, Abhay Sharma has been selected. He has been a part of the team during Irani Cup 2016.

An announcement was duly made by BCCI secretary, Ajay Shirke when he said, “Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team for the forthcoming tour to Zimbabwe, comprising three One-Day International matches and three T20 international matches to be played in Harare.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Koka Ramesh, a former cricketer and Zonal Secretary of the Andhra Cricket Association, as the Administrative Manager of the Indian team for the tour to Zimbabwe.”

We can see that the thinking behind selecting national and international coaches for Team India may have been focusing on the worth each of these sports persons’ experiences posses and which can be of great help to the team and its players.

As far as the administration of the team is concerned, another new manager has been chosen by the name, Koka Ramesh. He was also a former cricketer and is well acquainted with how the team has to be taken care of.

This India Zimbabwe Tour 2016 which starts from 11th June will comprise three ODI matches and as many T20 matches in the city of Harare.
