The largest Telecom operator in the country, Bharti Airtel has given a treat to its postpaid consumers by launching two unlimited voice calling plans. The scheme is “myPlan Infinity” with local, STD as well as roaming all included in the plan bundles with 3G and 4G data. The big announcement was made right before the grand launch of Reliance Jio, which is said to cause a massive effect in pricing of voice-calling and 4G data plans of the entire companies in the telecom sector.
The Airtel “myPlan Infinity” has two plans and you can choose on the basis of your requirements but these plans are available for the postpaid customers only. First plan of Rs. 1199 comes with unlimited voice-calling and flexible data benefits. This plan will include:
- Unlimited voice-calling- local, STD and on national roaming
- 100 SMS per day
- 1GB 3G/4G data
- Free subscription to Wynk music and Wynk movies.
The second plan is of Rs. 1599 and it will offer:
- Unlimited voice-calling- local, STD and on national roaming
- 100 SMS per day
- 5GB 3G/4G data
- Free subscription to Wynk music and Wynk movies.
The third plan is of Rs. 1999 and it will offer:
- Unlimited voice-calling- local, STD and on national roaming
- 100 SMS per day
- 10GB 3G/4G data
- Free subscription to Wynk music and Wynk movies.
The fourth plan is of Rs. 2999 and it will include:
- Unlimited voice-calling- local, STD and on national roaming
- 100 SMS per day
- 20GB 3G/4G data
- Free subscription to Wynk music and Wynk movies.
Ajai Puri, Director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel says, “With ‘myPlan Infinity’ we are making voice calls free for our customers and offering them the flexibility to combine this benefit with their individual data requirements. With the new price points, we have made the proposition even more affordable and this will benefit customers with very heavy voice usage. But also, only the content subscription on Wynk will be free and data access charges will apply.
Airtel is also planning to increase the data amount on its existing plans for the postpaid users so that will result into an approximate of 67% rises in the benefits of data packs. This announcement was made right after Idea has slashed its internet tariffs. The revised Airtel Data benefits are as follows:-
- 655 monthly recharge plan will offer 5GB data as compared to earlier 3GB data
- 455 recharge plan will offer 3GB data as compared to earlier 2GB data
- 989 recharge plan will offer 10GB data instead of 6.5GB earlier.
