Udta Punjab, the upcoming Bollywood movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Punjabi heartthrob Diljit Dosanjh, Alia Bhatt and Bebo- Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles is based on the drug abuse problems in the state Punjab. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 17th.
The movie has been lately making headlines with the back to back teasers and posters that are being released by the team. The initial poster which read, ‘Drug Di Maa Di’and teasers featuring Shahid Kapoor in a rock-star avatar and Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh in a tough cop avatar were so astounding that fans went crazy over social media aprreciating and expressing their want for more.
