Well, after the recent news that buzzed the country, The Dadri Lynching case, Kerala House has been on eyes for serving beef at the menu of the canteen. Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy strongly condemned the news saying the police action is completely false as it is a state Kerala House in Delhi and beef cannot be contained in the menu.

In a series of statement coming from the nation, Chandy told in a statement “The state guest house is not a hotel. The police should have followed certain amount of guidelines while raiding a canteen at a government guest house. We would make our protest formal by writing to the Delhi government.”

Kerala Chief secretary Jiji Thomson dismissed claims that the story came out to be false and said “No. I totally deny it. We have never done it. What they have done is they have given buffalo meat and that is what they term as beef. No cow meat was served.”

Hindu Sena leaders made an entry into the Kerala house and noting that the police is questioned over the entry of the activists into the Kerala house without taking approval from the House’s commissioner Thomson. Thomson said “The activists were waiting for police action in respect of their complaint.”

CPI (M) politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan said the attack was part of Sangh Parivar agenda. The same forces behind Dadri incident have targeted the Kerala House under the pretext of cow protection.

He questioned “Kejriwal questioned whether the Delhi Police would raid a state Bhavan and arrest a sitting Chief Minister if he was eating something disapproved of by the BJP.”
