Well, as the nation is voicing up for and against intolerance, it’s people from the film fraternity who are taking a lead to march against this issue. Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar is all set to march for India to Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi against rising intolerance issues.

The actor with his perspective says that intolerance is not the part of this country like India. These issues are simply maligning the image of the country and targeting the government led by Narendra Modi.

Mr. Kher said this morning “Nobody has the right to call our country intolerant. We are secular people and don’t believe in selective outrage. I have right to go to the President and say that we don’t feel India is intolerant. These talks can’t happen only on twitter/ Facebook, they need a personal presence.”

Mr. Kher tweeted this morning where he exhorted people to join his march and be a part of this march against intolerance. He tweeted “Patriotism gives us a feeling of self worth. Join us on this historical day at National Museum, Janpath at 10am.”

Well, with this initiative to fight back against this virtual phenomenon there are many who will be joining hands from artist fraternity like Madhur Bhandarkar, Narendra Kohli, Ronu Majumdar, Chandraprakash Diwedi, Priyadarshan among others.

This march which is dubbed as “campaign for truth” targets the award wapsi phenomenon that has been spilled in the entire country and artists and patrons are returning their awards. Mr. Kher earlier tweeted “This #AwardWapsiGang has not insulted the government, but the jury, the chairman of the jury and the audience who watched their films.”

The ‘March for India’ will start from the National Museum, Janpath in New Delhi will lead to Rashtrapati Bhawan. Paresh Rawal also voiced his opinion and came forward to be a part of this march. He tweeted “This #MarchForIndia is an eye-opener for those who showed their intolerance & return their awards.. msg is clear- #IndiaIsTolerant

Anupam Kher requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to be an audience to share with him the thoughts of “millions of Indians”.
