Apple is on an earnest drive to revolutionize the iPhone by including a Dual-Sim tray. Apple had also filed patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Most interestingly, the two SIM cards in the phone can work simultaneously. Good news for all the iPhone buffs.

The report was filed by Li Su, who is the chief-head architect for cellular software at Apple. He has been named as the inventor of the patent. He is the one to who pioneered the dual-sim feature in the Apple dynasty.

Apple has recently lost market and has witnessed a sharp drop in sales. To spruce up the attractive quotient in the phone, Apple is looking forward to incorporating the dual sim feature very seriously.

Apple is now looking to keep up with competitors like Samsung, Lenovo, Xiaomi and others . It is thriving hard to set up manufacturing plants in India. Apple is also in talks with the Indian government for tax exemption.

Due to the lack of local support and high tariffs, an iPhone can cost anywhere from INR 12,000 to INR 15,000 more than its original retail price.

If Apple manages to slip in a Dual-Sim tray in the next iPhone, there is not a shadow of a doubt that iPhone sales will skyrocket in India and in the global market.

If all things turn out favourably for iPhone, iPhone sales are likely to proliferate at a cumulative rate. The amusing feature of dual-sim in iPhone8 will be a perfect blend of convenience and eloquence. All the fanatic Iphone lovers are sure to have a happy new year( in anticipation, though), until Apple officially confirms the news.
